HELLO, I’M KATY
Creativity has always been at the heart of what I do.
I’m Katy Quinn, the artist and maker behind Cheshire Paper Flowers. From my studio in the North West of England, I create extraordinary giant flowers by hand, turning individual sheets of crepe paper and EVA foam into statement pieces designed to make people stop, look and smile.
My love of flowers, nature and creativity is at the heart of every piece I make. Each petal is individually cut, shaped and assembled by hand, meaning no two creations are ever quite the same.
What began as a creative passion has grown into a collection of giant flowers that have transformed weddings, celebrations, venues, shop windows and events – and I still love seeing the reaction when someone encounters one for the first time.

Why Paper Flowers?
There’s something magical about taking a simple material and transforming it into something completely unexpected.
Paper and handcrafted flowers give me the freedom to play with scale, shape and colour in a way that simply isn’t possible with fresh flowers. A delicate bloom can become a spectacular centrepiece, a favourite flower can be recreated in an unexpected colour, and an idea can grow into an installation designed entirely around your space.
And unlike fresh flowers, the magic doesn’t have to disappear at the end of the day. My giant flowers can be hired for a special occasion, purchased as a statement piece or commissioned especially for you.

There’s no production line here. Every giant flower is meticulously handcrafted, with each petal individually shaped and assembled to create its own character and movement.
From soft, romantic blooms to vibrant oversized flowers bursting with colour, I pay close attention to the little details that make each piece feel special.
It’s a slow and considered process, but that’s exactly what makes every flower unique.

Most days you’ll find me surrounded by paper, petals and an ever-growing collection of flowers in various stages of becoming something beautiful.
One of my favourite parts of what I do is taking an idea that exists only in someone’s imagination and working out how to bring it to life – whether that’s one enormous statement bloom or an entire installation designed to transform a space.
For me, it’s never just about making a flower. It’s about creating that moment when someone walks into a room and says, “Wow.”
